Welcome back my sugars,
Another month, another Southsea Rocks. This time my two best bros and I hit the cobbled streets of Southsea to treat our musical ears too the likes of Electric Milk, Fuzzwalker and, Icarus Falls.
So let’s get straight into the reviews of these three bad boys shall we?
Electric Milk
Home grown from my home town roots, this young band certainly didn’t disappoint me. Lead singer Callum certainly knows how to hold a crowds attention. My eyes stuck on him as he commanded the stage and everyone surrounding it. Plus that jacket honey, I need that jacket in my life.
This band gives me Kings of Leon, when they were good, vibes.
Now let’s talk about their drummer, Harrison. If you have been reading my blog for a while you know that I always keep an eye on the drummer. I can’t help it, because I am one – I become drawn to fellow percussionists. This kid is talented. Really really talented. That drum solo you pulled out sweetie, she felt that. You have impressed this cold hearted percussionist.
There is no doubt this young band has incredible shared talent. They work well together. They are well practised and you can see that these boys like playing together. They are so far up my street and on my level, I feel like they formed just to please me. Keep doing what you’re doing lads, I’m here for it and I’m down for it.

Fuzzwalker
I’m going to start with being a fan girl about Donna, again. I know we are all super shocked about that. This super talented drummer is everything I want to be. I can’t help but be in complete awe. You can read the piece I wrote about my love for Donna / Fuzzwalker’s EP launch here. It was meant to be purely about their EP launch but it turned into a how much I love Donna piece.
Once again this band has floored me with their sound. I can’t help but be incredibly invested in them every time I see them live and when the come on when I’m driving. It’s no wonder I have been keeping a very close eye on this band and will continue to do so. I would pay a lot of my hard earned money to see these guys live.
Also, Ed, darling, thank you for leaving the tree thing well alone. No arguments in this piece for you this time.
I was living for the lead singers passion and energy, it’s no surprise that by the end of the gig he was laying of the floor, looking like he had been hit by 30 tonnes of bricks.
I throughly suggest checking this band out, you wont regret it friends.

Icarus Falls
Now it’s no wonder that in my last piece I wrote somethings about the wonderful drummer of Icarus Falls. Something along the lines of him putting a spawn inside of me and having serious drummer envy. You can read my creepy comments on their drummer from my first piece here.
I mean they are all still valid. This guy is an insane drummer and I’m sat here hoping he will give a girl some lessons. I mean I am good but I am no where close to you honey. You have some serious talent. That stand and hit you pulled at the end, she felt that on a level.
Anyone, I’m going to stop being a little in love with the drummer and talk about the rest of the band.
These guys are incredibly talented. My friends and I are all in intense agreement on this. From that powerful singing voice, to those guitars, there is nothing not to enjoy about this band. It’s really no surprise these guys are on all of my playlists. When they play I get Killswitch Engage vibes and I am here for it.
I honestly don’t have a single bad word to say about this band. Not one. I’m excited to see what comes next, what they do next. I am on board and I am ready for it. I can’t wait to try and get my hands on these guys for a solo piece and interview.

Great reviews Beth
